My
teaching and writing is the synthesis of different systems and modalities that I have studied, experienced and worked with
over the years. Each one can be a healing system on its own however, the synthesis of all is greater than the individual
parts. Here is a brief description of these systems:
Transpersonal Psychology;
moving beyond the personal (self) in the understanding of who we are; realizing that we are multidimensional beings full of
potential and free will. One of the latest schools of thought in the field of Psychology with great representatives such as
Roberto Assagioli, Carl Jung, Ken
Wilber, Stanislav Grof, Frances Vaughan, Stanley
Krippner, Michael Murphy,
etc.
Consciousness Studies; one of Transpersonal
Psycholgy's tracks that has gained popularity over the last decades with research and work done and demostrated through
the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), Dr. Masaru Emoto, Bruce Lipton, Candace Pert and also seen in films such as
"What the bleep..." and "The Secret". Topics that are explored include becoming aware of all that is; we influence all that is around and within us by what we think, do and say; our cells are a microcosm of the macrocosm; by
shifting our focus from the individual to the society and humanity as a whole, we can bring change and create the world we
want to live in.
Transformational Kinesiology (TK)™ was developed by Grethe Fremming and Rolf Havsboel, founders of Polaris International College in Denmark, and is part of an extensive Life Coach training program. TK is an incredible tool for consciously and intentionally engaging in the process of our
own spiritual awakening and facilitating the growth and spiritual awakening of others.
TK combines the art of muscle testing with the science of subtle energies and utilizes the
principles of Transpersonal Psychology and the Seven Rays, Holistic Counseling, Esoteric Astrology and Vibrational Healing.
This
unique energy balancing modality is inspired by the Ageless Wisdom as it is described
in the works of Torkom Saraydarian, Sri Aurobindo, Paramahansa Yogananda, Grace Cooke, Alice Bailey, Helena Roerich, David
Tansley, Roberto Assagioli, Lucille Cedecrans and others. In the modern era, principles of this work are seen in Quantum
and New Physics, Vibrational Medicine and Psychoneuroimmunology.
Traditional
Chinese Medicine; a 2,000+year old healing tradition (complete medical system) based on the interplays
of nature and yin-yang, seeing the self as a microcosm of the larger macrocosm we humans are a part of. Chi, or universal
energy, sustains and penetrates every living organism; Health is the result of equilibrium and balance of this energy whereas
disease arises when this energy gets stuck, changed, restricted, etc.
Natural Health or Traditional Naturopathy; Is a concept
birthed in Ancient Greece; the later name describing a philosophy and healing system based on trust in the natural order of
life and the self-regulating potential of a human being. Healing is based on the forces of the Sun, Air, Water, Nutrition,
Rest and Exercise, along with the balance of emotions and thoughts. "Man Know Thy-Self" concept underlying
healing at all levels. Nature has all we need to be balanced and healthy. Use of herbs and homeopathy, along with vibrational
essences complete an organic process.
Raja Yoga; the Royal or Eight-fold Path to Enlightenment; its eight steps trace a systematic
path of regulation and control from the dense form (physical body), to the subtle (the senses), to the subtlest (the manifestations
of the mind). In other words, Raja Yoga is involved with the physical, mental and spiritual realm and its eight steps
lead an individual to the full realization of the Self.
